Mark 15:37-41

37 And Jesus uttered a loud cry and breathed his last. 38 And the curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. 39 And when the centurion, who stood facing him, saw that in this way he[h] breathed his last, he said, “Truly this man was the Son[i] of God!”

40 There were also women looking on from a distance, among whom were Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the younger and of Joses, and Salome. 41 When he was in Galilee, they followed him and ministered to him, and there were also many other women who came up with him to Jerusalem.

One response to “Mark 15:37-41

  1. A Roman soldier, probably one who had mocked Him, spit on Him, and slapped Him around, saw the signs and wonders when He died and declared Him to be the Son of God. Nature witnessed to this man that this was God’s Son and you can bet that the religious leaders who stood mockingly around came to the same conclusion. I wonder if they went back and read prophecy in Psalm and Isaiah and realized the hardness of their heart.
