2 Cor 2:8-11

So I beg you to reaffirm your love for him. For this is why I wrote, that I might test you and know whether you are obedient in everything. 10 Anyone whom you forgive, I also forgive. Indeed, what I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, has been for your sake in the presence of Christ, 11 so that we would not be outwitted by Satan; for we are not ignorant of his designs.

  1. Forgiving people is hard. I like to hold onto my hurt and use it as currency to manipulate and control. Forgiveness, especially of brothers, is required and does not allow for delay.

Satan has plans to destroy us. His plans include hurt, disunity, and disobedience. We know his plans and can avoid them and they hurt that they bring by obedience and submission.
