Acts 3:24-26

24 “Indeed, beginning with Samuel, all the prophets who have spoken have foretold these days. 25 And you are heirs of the prophets and of the covenant God made with your fathers. He said to Abraham, ‘Through your offspring all peoples on earth will be blessed.’[b] 26 When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.”

One response to “Acts 3:24-26

  1. God has made promises, and He is bound by them because He can not lie. Yet, He is also merciful and just. When He comes to me, and I turn from His will and purposes, He is justified to strike me down and destroy me. Yet He gently corrects me, and turns me to His purposes. Like the Jews in this story, He sends another word, and even a sign to turn their eyes and to open them.
