proverbs 26:1-5

Like snow in summer or rain in harvest,
honor is not fitting for a fool.
Like a fluttering sparrow or a darting swallow,
an undeserved curse does not come to rest.
A whip for the horse, a bridle for the donkey,
and a rod for the backs of fools!
Do not answer a fool according to his folly,
or you yourself will be just like him.
Answer a fool according to his folly,
or he will be wise in his own eyes.

One response to “proverbs 26:1-5

  1. Harsh words. Words spoken in anger. They never just land on the victim and then stop there. They always spider web and cause fractures in relationships and testimonies. The Bible speaks of controlling the tongue and how it can do damage like a wildfire. I have to walk after God’s spirit, and not after my flesh, and use my tongue to speak life.
