Proverbs 21:6-10

A fortune made by a lying tongue
is a fleeting vapor and a deadly snare.[a]

7 The violence of the wicked will drag them away,
for they refuse to do what is right.

8 The way of the guilty is devious,
but the conduct of the innocent is upright.

9 Better to live on a corner of the roof
than share a house with a quarrelsome wife.

10 The wicked crave evil;
their neighbors get no mercy from them.

One response to “Proverbs 21:6-10

  1. Wicked don’t just choose evil, the seek it out, create it, and perpetuate it. There will be sin in the world, and sin should not suprise us. Sin is not directed at us, it is a rejection of God and His way.

    We can pursue riches and pleasure, but they are temporal and will leave us empty and without hope. If we walk in His way, He will provide for our needs and we won’t be without.
