Proverbs 3:31-35

31 Do not envy the violent
or choose any of their ways.

32 For the Lord detests the perverse
but takes the upright into his confidence.
33 The Lord’s curse is on the house of the wicked,
but he blesses the home of the righteous.
34 He mocks proud mockers
but shows favor to the humble and oppressed.
35 The wise inherit honor,
    but fools get only shame.

One response to “Proverbs 3:31-35

  1. The Lord is seeking for us to be wise, peaceful, humble, and to live our lives upright and to make our houses righteous. This is a tall order and tough in light of our selfishness and wicked hearts. But He equips us, He is patient, and He gives us His word to know truth and to walk in His way. The deck is not stacked against us, He has drawn a path to life and success for us and we need only walk in His way and obey the words He has given and the witness of His Spirit.
