Hebrews 13:18-21

18 Pray for us. We are sure that we have a clear conscience and desire to live honorably in every way. 19 I particularly urge you to pray so that I may be restored to you soon.  20 Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, 21 equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

  1. The author was still a person, lonely, and desirous to be with people that he loved. He asked the saints to join with him to ask God for deliverance.

God brought us back to Him through the blood of Christ, and He equips us and sets us up to please Him and to serve Him. Not because He needs us, but because He is gracious and allows us to be be blessed in serving Him.
