Hebrews 2:5-8

5It is not to angels that he has subjected the world to come, about which we are speaking. But there is a place where someone has testified:

“What is mankind that you are mindful of them,
a son of man that you care for him?
You made them a little[a] lower than the angels;
you crowned them with glory and honor
    and put everything under their feet.

One response to “Hebrews 2:5-8

  1. As mankind we rejected God’s plan, disobeyed, and got evicted from His perfect garden. We rejected His Son, denied that He was Christ, and murdered Him. Yet God foresaw our wretchedness and selfishness and crafted a plan to forgive us for these sins and to restore us to Him. The very Son that we rejected and murdered died to forgive us and to build us a bridge back to the Father.

    Who are we that God is mindful and kind to us? We are His creations, created in His image, and the recipients of His eternal love and His daily mercy.
