Acts 28:28-31

28 “Therefore I want you to know that God’s salvation has been sent to the Gentiles, and they will listen!” [29] [b]

30 For two whole years Paul stayed there in his own rented house and welcomed all who came to see him. 31 He proclaimed the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ—with all boldness and without hindrance!

  1. Two more years of waiting and imprisonment. But Paul did not see it that way. He took the two years of unhindered confinement to teach about God and to exhort and to lift up all who came to his house.

Had he been free, and ministering in the temple, the priests would have continued to arrest and abuse him and to hinder his ministry. Here, under the protection of Rome, they could do nothing to him and God used him to spread the Way and to bring people to the truth.
