Acts 2:40-41

40 With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, “Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.” 41 Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.

  1. God chose not to record all of Peter’s other words, but He summarized his message in his plea to set themselves apart from this corrupt generation. We have been called, and we should be different and set apart.

    Those who received revelation from God were saved, forgiven, and baptized. 3,000 people. Not just 3,000 people saved, but 3,000 additional messengers to fan the fires of the Gospel that were about to sweep the world.
