Daniel 10:15-18

Daniel 10:15-18 HCSB

While he was saying these words to me, I turned my face toward the ground and was speechless.  Suddenly one with human likeness touched my lips. I opened my mouth and said to the one standing in front of me, “My lord, because of the vision, anguish overwhelms me and I am powerless.  How can someone like me, your servant, speak with someone like you, my lord? Now I have no strength, and there is no breath in me.”
Then the one with human likeness touched me again and strengthened me.

One response to “Daniel 10:15-18

  1. How can someone like me, converse with someone holy like you? This is the cry of my wicked heart. I continually thank God that His mercies are new every morning and His faithfulness is great.

God, in His infinite kindness, touches us, and longs for us. He does not just put up with me, He waits for me and longs for my affection and attention. I am much more wicked than Daniel and no where near as humble, yet He longs for me as He did for Daniel.
