Luke 10:5-7

5 “When you enter a house, first say, ‘Peace to this house.’ 6 If someone who promotes peace is there, your peace will rest on them; if not, it will return to you. 7 Stay there, eating and drinking whatever they give you, for the worker deserves his wages. Do not move around from house to house.

One response to “Luke 10:5-7

  1. Respect the house, or the people that host and serve you, and wish them peace and blessing. The evangelist should be hosted and welcomed and the host should be blessed and thanked.

God’s plan to equip and use us all in the places that He puts us is evident here. He calls one to travel and to preach and one to maintain a house to receive travelers and to bless them.

We could go on and on and highlight these situations. The reality is that God’s plan works best and His way and design in perfect.
