Acts 2:34-36

34For David did not ascend to heaven, and yet he said, ” ‘The Lord said to my Lord:  “Sit at my right hand

35until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.” ‘[g]

36“Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.”

  1. The Lord will triumph over our enemies. Our duty is to trust Him and to have faith in His timing and plan.

    The phrases Lord and Christ are meant to be two different things. He is the MAster, the annointed one in Heaven and Earth, and He is also the Messiah. The Greek words that are used here are words from the Talmud and are meant to bring recognition in the Jews.
