  1. When Christ is shown to us, everything that we see or feel is God given. Once we have that connection with Christ, the evil desires that we once have will seeem non important from then on out.

  2. we must prepare our hearts for action–becoming more like Christ does not happen just because we profess to love God–it takes ACTION. We have to try to do things that Jesus would do, we cant just wish for it.

  3. There should be a distint difference between the old and the new man. We should not act on the things the flesh used to do and we should be pursuing new things.

  4. GRRRRRRRRRRRRR i forgot to put in my information, my name and email and IT DELETED MY POST….I AM SO FRUSTRATED…i got complacent in copying my post cuz I havent had a problem in a very very long time and this is what happens…but I tell ya..its amazing how the Holy Spirit just convicted me with my complacency with bloggin and quiet times…GULP….

anyways let me quickly rewrite what I saw…

in vs 13 – I see three things

    1) our mind
    2) our actions
    3) our emotions

If we can get these things under control we can be vs 14–obedient children…If we learn to think before we do, process our choices we will most likely do what is right…If we learn to get our flesh under control and live by the spirit we will most likely do what is right and if we learn to get our emotions under control we will most likely do what is right!
