1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, 2 Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.

  1. uhmmm… part of verse one is missing. any way it is meant to say “To the saints in Ephesus, the faithful in Christ Jesus:” then it goes to verse 3. I just think that it is interesting to note how positive this greating is.. it gives us a little insight to the tone of this letter.

  2. Blessed in Heavenly things. Sometimes we only focus on this life and forget that God tells us that this life is only a wisp of smoke in the light of eternity. God is laying up blessings for us in eternity and we get to short-sighted sometimes to remember.

  3. Reminds me of Rick’s lesson about our Kingdom of Influence…dwelling on the eternal impact and not the temporal things…

    When we see ourselves focused on the now and not the eternal, we begin to fall away from living and following God’s will…Christ was always focused on the will of the father and we know the will of the Father is always on the Kingdom and Eternal!
