Galatians 6:6-8

Leviticus

6 Anyone who receives instruction in the word must share all good things with his instructor. 7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 8 The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

  1. we must pay for our actions..whether they are ungodly or godly, there will be an outcome to each..sometimes it may not be what we want and sometimes it may be..but each time we learn from it

  2. Paul is expressing the importance of supporting the teachers of the gospel… financially, materially, etc. Because of the false teachers among them the Galatians did not trust or support those who deserved their trust and support.

  3. The responsibility of receiving the truth is that we are enlightened to our burden to share it with others. God multiplies His message through His redeemed.

The sowing and reaping is in the context of our own selfishness. If we spend all of our own time and resourcess to fulfill our own desires we will not reap a harvest from fellow believers that we have helped to grow in the faith.
