John 7:37-40

www.gypr.wordpress.com Hebrews 13

37 On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. 38 Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.” 39 By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified

  1. when you drink of Jesus and are filled with the holy spirit it shows.like the verse said in flows within you and can spread to anyone who believes.

  2. Several things about this stuck out to me:

    1) On the greatest day of the feast means that He chose the day with the largest attendance or the opportunity to reach the most people

    2) Jesus issued an open invitation to everyone, He was not prejudicial

    3) He spoke in a loud voice. He was not ashamed, and He knew that they needed what He was offering

  3. One thing that stuck out to me is the reference to a stream. Streams are ever-flowing, they do not run out of water. and also, they burst forth from the source within the earth because the pressure cannot be contained. We should have this in mind in our walk–we should be ever-filled with the presence of God, and it should burst out of us because it cannot be contained.
