1 John 2:1

My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense–Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.

  1. this is a cool verse because its flat out saying that somebody doesnt want us to sin.its just awesome that someone would go through the trouble of this just to help us out. and its also cool that even when we do sin we always have Jesus there to tell God that we are trying and ask Him to forgive us. the verse says that that Jesus is the righteous one isnt awesome to know that someone who is completely clean from sin has your back whenever you mess up

  2. sorry i didnt blog the other verses ive been really busy not much of an excuse poor time management i read the other verses but dont have time to comment them

john letting us no that he doesnt want us to sin
and he cares enough to helps us not
and hes letting us no that even if we mess up we got somebody to chill God out for us …Jesus
He kind of like and older brother that takes the blame for you except he already did when He died on the cross.

and Ronnie… thanks for the bracelet its pretty sweet 1 John 1:9

  3. John comes across like a mother or father who is telling us do not go into the street, danger is in the street..he is concerned about our relationship with the father and has a desire to see us grow. Thinking about that…how concerned our we as Christians with the welfare and relationships of others when it comes to Christ…are we concerned enough to invest in their lives, pour out ourselves to reach them…John truly is showing us an example of how we are to be as Christians.

The second part shows Jesus stepping in as a big brother, a best friend taking the blame and sticking up for us. he took our punishment, our pain, our suffering so we could have a relationship with his daddy…its time that I begin to take some punishment, persecution, pain so my friends and family and strangers I come in contact with can have a relationship with my daddy!
